Day 01: Feb 22, 2026: Depart North America     [IFM]
Depart North America on an overnight flight to Egypt.

Day 02: Feb 23, 2026: Luxor, Egypt  IFM]
Arrival in Luxor. After clearing Egyptian customs, transfer to a hotel situated along the Nile River, for a 2-night stay.

Day 03: Feb 24, 2026: Luxor  [B/L/D]
A free morning to relax after international flights. Enjoy lunch at the hotel before an afternoon visit to the Karnak Temple, known the Vatican of the Pharaonic Era. Here everything is large, with monumental gates and enormous halls and pillars with beautiful carvings. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 04: Feb 25, 2026: Luxor        [B/L]
Start your morning off with a truly “once in a lifetime” experience aboard a hot air balloon overlooking the Nile River and Luxor. Continue to the western banks of the Nile River to visit the Colossus of Memnon, Queen Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings. A visit to all three tombs, including the Tomb of Tutankhamen (known as King Tut). Depart for the western bank of the Nile River to visit the Colossus of Memnon. Queen Hatshepsut Temple and the Valley of Kings. Overnight in Luxor.

 Day 05: Feb 26, 2026: Luxor - Nile River Cruise [B/L/D]
Morning check in to the Nile River Cruise. Enjoy a visit to the Luxor Museum - known as the largest and most significant religious center in ancient Egypt. Enjoy the afternoon aboard the Nile River Cruise. In the evening, before dinner, we will make the short trip back to Luxor Temple to see it illuminated after sunset. Overnight onboard.

Day 06: Feb 27, 2026: Nile River Cruise - Locks of Esna - Edfu  [B/L/D]
A morning at your leisure aboard the cruise. Around noon the ship will sail towards the Esna Locks. Enjoy the panoramic view from the sundeck as not much has changed along the Nile since the time of the pharaohs. The farmers and family are working hard in the fields. The green color stands in sharp contrast to the surrounding dry brown desert. Enjoy afternoon tea onboard. The ship has to wait for its turn in the lock of Esna and will pass through during the late afternoon and continue to Edfu. Overnight onboard.

Day 07: Feb 28, 2026: Cruising Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan  [B/L/D]
Today we will visit the Edfu Temple, built in 200 BC and perfectly preserved. Continue to sail to Kom Ombo where there is a short walk from the ship to visit this double temple, before continuing towards Aswan in the afternoon. Once more, enjoy afternoon tea as you view life along the river.

 Day 08: Mar 01, 2026: Aswan          [B/L/D]
Morning visit a Nubian Village in Elephantine Island where you will be shown around and hear everything about the Nubian people and culture by the Nubian host. After lunch you will visit the Philae Temple situated on a small island between the old Aswan Dam and the High Dam as well as the unfinished obelisk in the granite quarry. You are back onboard in the late afternoon for your last night onboard. .

Day 09: Mar 02, 2026: Aswan - Lake Nasser Cruise   [B/L/D]
You check out of your Nile River cruise ship after breakfast. Your day starts with a sailing trip around the archipelago of Aswan in a felucca, a small classic sailing boat. Walk around the Botanical Garden and take a walk among the 100 year old trees of all kinds. You then transfer to the harbour of Lake Nasser, situated by the High Dam that will be visited enroute.

Day 10: Mar 03, 2026: Aswan - Kasr Ibrim - Amada [B/D]
Breakfast will be served on board of your ship. Later on, you will join your Egyptologist tour guide to discover the the Temple of Kalabsha . Located within view of the High Dam, Kalabsha Temple is often the first stop for any cruise on Lake Nasser. It was moved to this spot from its originally location 30 miles to the south after the construction of the dam. Construction of the temple was begun at the end of the Ptolomaic Dynasty and actually completed under the rule of the Roman Emperor Augustus. The result is an interesting combination of imagery that includes Egyptian and Roman themes with images of Roman emperors and pharaohs worshipping with the Egyptian gods. The temple was dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis. Also you will visit Beit El Wali. Beit el-Wali was rescued from Lake Nasser by a Polish archaeological team financed by a joint Oriental Institute of Chicago/Swiss Institute of Cairo Project. After the visit , you will be back to the Cruise for refreshment & have the Lunch on the board then the Cruise will sail to Wadi El Sebou while passing by the Tropic of Cancer.

Day 11: Mar 04, 2026: Lake Nasser - Abu Simbel  [B/D]
Breakfast followed by a then you will go to Wadi El Sebou , The name in Arabic means "Valley of the Lions", referring to the avenue of sphinxes that leads up to this temple, which was built during the reign of Ramesses II. You will be back to the ship to have lunch while the boat will sail to Amada. The Temple of Amada is the oldest of the monuments around Lake Nasser. Dating from the 18th dynasty of the New Kingdom, the temple predates Ramesses II and Abu Simbel by around two hundred years; however, as is typical of the great pharaoh of Egypt, Ramesses’s mark and that of his son Merenptah can be found inside.

Day 12: Mar 05, 2026: Lake Nasser - Abu Simbel     [B/L/D]
View Kasr Ibrim from the ship’s sundeck. The citadel of Kasr Ibrim was once a formidable city high above the Nile River, but today it appears as an Island due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Visit Abu Simbel Temple . Built on the west bank of the Nile River, between the first and second cataracts of the Nile, the site of Abu Simbel is one of the most recognizable ancient sites in Egypt, It contains two temples, carved into a mountainside, that were built by pharaoh Ramesses II (1303-1213 B.C).Abu Simbel today is no longer in the same location as it was in ancient times. A visit to the Abu Simbel Lights & Sounds Show in included this evening.

Day 13: Mar 06, 2026: Abu Simbel - Giza    [B/L/D]
Transfer to the airport in Abu Simbel and to fly to Cairo via Aswan. Visit to Grand Egyptian Museum - a five-million-square-foot state-of-the-art museum with panoramic views of the Pyramids of Giza. Dinner and overnight in Giza.

Day 14: Mar 07, 2026: Giza   [B/L/D]
Begin your day with the most famous sight in Egypt: the Pyramids at the Giza, known as one of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World”. Also visit the mysterious Sphinx. Enjoy a breathtaking lunch overlooking the pyramids. This afternoon, visit the Institute of Papyrus before returning to the hotel for dinner and the night.

Day 15: Mar 08, 2026: Giza - Faijoum  [B/L/D]
Visit to Belco farm - Egypt’s largest export farms. This farm production area is over 3,000 acres with a wide range of fruits and vegetables being grown, including: table grapes, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries strawberries, peaches, mangoes, melons, green beans, spring onions, snow peas, capsicums, chilies and Chinese cabbages. We will have light lunch snacks in the farm. We leave Giza behind us and drive through the desert towards Faijoum. We check into our hotel, situated on the brackish Qarun Lake, once upon filled with crocodiles, and have dinner. The main building of the hotel was in its golden days the hunting castle of King Farouk. Overnight in Faijoum.

Day 16: Mar 09, 2026: Giza - Faijoum  [B/L/D]
After breakfast we put our luggage into the bus and ourselves into 4x4 wheel cars. Cars are of older models and owned by Bedouins in the area and this kind of excursions is a very welcome income here. We drive along the Qarun lake through the fields of flowers vegetables and fruits before turning into the desert and Valley of Whales. A visit to the small museum, walk around the whale skeletons and do some light dune bashing with our Bedouin drivers. We return into the oasis and then have lunch at the Fayoumi Cooking School and a walk around the Tunis village famous for its beautiful ceramic pottery schools and workshops. This afternoon we will partake in a ceramics class, learning to make our own beautiful pottery. Dinner and overnight in Faijoum.

Day 17: Mar 08, 2026: Giza - Faijoum  [B/D]
Leaving the desert oasis behind us, travel back to Cairo. Farewell dinner this evening.

Day 18: Mar 09, 2026: Cairo - Flight to Canada [B/IFM]
All good things must come to an end. Transfer to the Cairo Airport for flight(s) back to Canada.
