Prince Edward Island is the smallest province in Canada in terms of land area and population. The island has several nicknames: "Garden of the Gulf", "Birthplace of Confederation" and "Cradle of Confederation". The Gaspé Peninsula is a peninsula along the south shore of the St. Lawrence River that extends from the Matapedia Valley in Quebec, Canada, into the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

ITINERARY

Day 1: July 04, 2025: Arrive Charlottetown, PEI
Arrive Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and overnight in a city center hotel.

Day 2: July 05, 2025: Arrive Cambellton, NB
Meet your Driver and Tour Director and depart on your Gaspé Discovery Tour. Your adventure will begin from Charlottetown as you travel across the Confederation Bridge into the province of New Brunswick. Continue with stops for rest breaks and lunch (not included) along the way. Your tour director will help to pass the time with onboard entertainment and games. Arrive in Cambellton, NB this evening. After checking in, join your fellow passengers from an included dinner. [B/D]

Day 3 & 4: July 05 & 07, 2025: Percé, QB
Your journey continues as you make your way to Percé, Quebec. Stops will be made for rest breaks and lunch (not included) along the way. In Pointe-à-la-Croix a stop will be made at the Battle of Restigouche National Historic Site. At the of Battle of the Restigouche National Historic Site you can admire the ship’s remains and to relive the last naval battle between France and Britain for possession of North American territory. Later this afternoon you will arrive at the Riotel Percé where you will check in for a two-night stay. Enjoy some free time to explore the area before joining the group for an included dinner at the hotel. Today’s highlight is a cruise to Parc National de l'Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé. Sculpted by time and the sea, at the Gaspé Peninsula's tip, you will find Bonaventure Island and the magnificent Percé Rock. Its outstanding flora and fauna, including its famous colony of Northern Gannets make it a must-see, as do the island's old homes. Note: during the cruise there may be an opportunity to disembark and visit Bonaventure Island. If you choose to disembark the cruise the entry fee to visit the island is not included in your package and you will be responsible for your return sailing to Percé. This afternoon you are free to explore the village of Percé. Here you will find many boutiques, studios, restaurants, and cafes within a short distance of the hotel. You may also wish to visit Percé UNESCO Global Geopark where you can take in a view of Percé from a glass platform suspended 200 metres (660 feet) above the ground. [Breakfast Daily & Dinner]

Day 5 & 6: July 08 & 09, 2025: Gaspé & Rimouski, QB
Today you will continue your journey along the peninsula. A stop will be made in the city of Gaspé where you will have free time to explore and have lunch at a local restaurant (not included). Early this evening you will arrive and check in to the Riotel Matane. After checking in, meet with your group at the hotel restaurant for an included dinner. This morning, you will check out of the hotel and make your way to Rimouski, QC. Along the route you will have the opportunity to visit Les Jardins de Métis - Reford Gardens for free time to explore. These gardens are the extraordinary achievement of a passionate gardener – Elsie Reford. In the summer of 1926, at the age of 54, she began transforming her fishing camp on the Mitis River into a garden. Today the gardens are home to more than 3,000 species, cultivars and varieties of plants, both native and exotic. Have lunch (not included) at the onsite restaurant or café. Your next stop will be at Pointe-au-Père Maritime Historic Site. Here you will find three exhibits which include the Empress of Ireland Museum showcasing this history of this steamship, Canada’s first publicly accessible submarine the Onondaga, and Canada’s 2nd highest lighthouse – Pointe-au-Père Lighthouse National Historic Site. Following your visit to Pointe-au-Père Maritime Historic Site, you will travel a short distance and check in to your host hotel, the Hotel Rimouski. Join your fellow travellers at the hotel restaurant for an included farewell dinner. [Breakfast Daily & Dinner]

Day 7: July 10, 2025: Gaspé & Rimouski, QB
Make your way back to Prince Edward Island. Stops will be made for rest breaks and lunch (not included) along the way. Arrive Charlottetown this evening and say goodbye to your Driver and Tour Director. Overnight in Charlottetown this evening. [B]

Day 8: July 11, 2025: End of Tour
