DAY 01: May 29, 2026: [IFM]
Depart North America on an overnight flight into Lisbon, Portugal.
DAY 02: May 30, 2026: LISBON, PORTUGAL [IFM/D]
Arrive into Lisbon, Portugal and transfer to hotel for a 4-night stay. Lisbon is the stunning capital city of Portugal, and is one of the most charismatic and vibrant cities of Western Europe. The city blends traditional heritage, with striking modernism and offers a rich and varied history, lively nightlife and is blessed with a glorious year-round climate. Enjoy a “Welcome Dinner” with a private Portuguese chef this evening.
DAY 03: May 31, 2026: LISBON, PORTUGAL [B/D]
Following breakfast, visit a factory that processes 4th range fruit into chip snacks and fresh fruit packs, ready to eat. This factory also delivers these snacks and fruit to various Portuguese supermarkets and exports as well. Later this morning, visit the Cork oak tree forest and cork observatory. This afternoon, you will visit a handmade tile factory and try your hand a painting one. Free time before dinner at Fado, (musical genre with a dinner of Tapas) Restaurant.
DAY 04: June 01, 2026: LISBON, PORTUGAL [B/L/D]
After breakfast, visit the market for a tour and hands-on cooking class. This market features fish and produce vendors with colorful locals daily lifestyle. Let the chef teach you how to cook and enjoy a Portuguese typical 3-course lunch with fish, meat and the famous Portuguese custard tarts as dessert. This afternoon tour and visit the city of Lisbon via the Eco Tuks that will include old and historic Lisbon neighborhoods and viewpoints. Dinner this evening will be at the hotel.
DAY 05: June 02, 2026: LISBON – SINTRA – LISBON, PORTUGAL [B/D]
Following breakfast at the hotel, depart for a visit of Sintra, a UNESCO heritage village with a fairytale setting. The home of Portugal’s monarchs, this magnificent town has marvelous historic mansions, all set against the backdrop of lush hills. This afternoon’s highlight will be the visit to the Colares Wine Region that lies within two miles of the Atlantic Ocean. Its label states, “the most westerly vineyards of Europe”. After a walk through to the vineyards with a breathtaking view through to the Atlantic Ocean, you will taste the wines in their beautiful winery. Return to the hotel for dinner.
DAY 06: June 03, 2026: LISBON - EVORA, PORTUGAL [B/D]
After breakfast, check out of hotel and travel to visit a local cheese factory for a tour and tasting of some of his wares. Following this, you will visit a family wine producer,that produces rare and limited-edition wines produced in special years. This afternoon, visit the Torre de Palm Wine Hotel and Winery, which dates from the 14th century. You will visit the vineyard area, followed by wine tasting. This evening, Together with the chef of the hotel’s restaurant, the group will learn and prepare the dinner, a three-course meal base in the unique and hearty regional cuisine of Alentejo.
DAY 07: June 04, 2026: EVORA, PORTUGAL [B/D]
Following breakfast, visit Évora on a walking tour. The tour includes the Roman Temple, the Cathedral and Giraldo Square. Evora is a UNESCO World Heritage City with more than two thousand years of history. It is rated as one of the best Portuguese cities to live in. This afternoon visit and winemaking masterclass at Ervideira that dates from the 19th century. In this visit, you will learn about the Helix cork stopper. You will also learn how to blend monovarietal wines into tour own and person wine. Visit a cork factory before dinner at the hotel made and served by local producers.
DAY 08: June 05, 2026: EVORA – BEJA, PORTUGAL [B/L/D]
Following breakfast visit and lunch at the largest organic farm in Portugal. Visit to an olive grove and mill, the fourth largest exporter of olive oil in the world. Enjoy a tasting of the different types of olive oil being produced here. This evening “Farewell Dinner” to Portugal is at a typical regional restaurant with a Cante Alentjano chorus live performance. Return to hotel for the night late this evening.
DAY 09: June 06, 2026: BEJA, PORTUGAL - SEVILLE, SPAIN [B/L/D]
After breakfast at the hotel, there is time to explore this quaint hotel that was once a monastery. Visit to a hydroponic strawberry greenhouse with over 200,000 plants. Lunch at a local winery before saying farewell to Portugal and driving into Spain. Arrive at the hotel in Seville for a 2-night stay. Dinner will be at the hotel.
DAY 10: June 07, 2026: SEVILLE, SPAIN [B/L/D]
After breakfast, learn about the fascinating world of the preparation of the famed Iberian ham. You will see how traditional and natural practices are still used in the production of the finest quality hams. Lunch will include a taste of local product, cured cheese, local home-made cakes and a selection of local wines. This afternoon enjoy a tour of Seville including admission to the Cathedral. Return to the hotel later this afternoon and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 11: June 08, 2026: SEVILLE - GIBRALTAR [B/L/D]
Breakfast at the hotel then visit the Yeguada de la Cartuja stud farm near the town of Jerez. From its founding towards the end of the XV century, the adjacent Monastery of the Cartuja became famous for breeding Jerezano thoroughbred Andalusian horses, a tradition which continues to this day. During your visit you will have a guided tour of the facilities, including the stallion yard, harness room and coach-houses, mare barn and clinical service area. The visit will finish with a show in the covered dressage ring for free-running colts of different ages, with hitches, classical dressage, “cobras” of mares (a group of mares tied together with one handler) and so on. Lunch at a local restaurant then visit a Sherry wine cellar and see the exciting world of the Sherry wines as well as their unique Art Gallery. Travel to Gibraltar for dinner and the night.
DAY 12: June 09, 2026: GIBRALTAR – RONDA, SPAIN [B/D]
This morning you will visit the iconic “Rock of Gibraltar”. With its unique location at the mouth of the Mediterranean and its proximity to Africa, Gibraltar has played a vital role in defensive military strategy for centuries. Depart for Ronda for a night stay. Despite being a growing town Ronda retains much of its historic charm, particularly its old town. It is famous worldwide for its dramatic escarpments and views, and for the deep El Tajo gorge that carries the rio Guadalevín through its centre. This afternoon, you will visit the Bullring. The “Plaza de Toros” occupies a very special place in modern Spanish culture and history as the home of the Rondeño style of bullfighting and also of the Real Maestranza De Caballería De Ronda. The bullring was built entirely of stone in the 18th century, during the golden years of Pedro Romero’s reign as champion bullfighter.
DAY 13: June 10, 2026: RONDA - GRANADA, SPAIN [B/D]
Drive to Granada then visit the Alhambra Palace. Atop a hill overlooking Granada, in southern Spain, is the majestic and stunning Alhambra. Both fortress and palace, it has been home to kings and vagabonds. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is an awe inspiring blend of Moorish and Christian architecture and design.
DAY 14: June 11, 2026: GRANADA - MALAGA, SPAIN [B/L/D]
Visit a greenhouse this morning then lunch will be served in a tropical fruit farm. Transfer to hotel for dinner and 2 night stay.
DAY 15: June 12, 2026: MALAGA, SPAIN [B/L/D]
A morning walking tour of Malaga is a historic and culturally rich provincial capital. The tastefully restored historic center is a delight with the Gothic cathedral surrounded by narrow pedestrian streets flanked by traditional and modern bars, and shops. Afternoon is at leisure to explore on your own. Dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 16: June 13, 2026: MALAGA - MADRID, SPAIN [B/L/D]
This morning take the "High Speed Train" to Madrid for a 1-night stay. After lunch, depart for Madrid for sightseeing. Enjoy a “Farewell Dinner” this evening.
DAY 17: June 14, 2026: END OF TOUR [B/IFM]
Following breakfast the hotel, check out and transfer to the Madrid Airport and the flight back to North America.
