Day 01 - March 21, 2026:  Depart North America for Tokyo, Japan               [IFM]
Depart North America for flight Tokyo, Japan.

Day 02 - March 22, 2026:  Tokyo     [IFM/D]
Upon arrival into Tokyo, Japan be met and transfer to your hotel, for a 4 night stay.

Day 03 - March 23, 2026:  Tokyo   [B/L/D] 
After breakfast depart on a full day of sightseeing in Tokyo.
Visit the Tsukiji Fish Outer Market in the morning. Afterwards, visit Skytree and enjoy the view from the tower. Visit the famous Kappabashi district; a fascinating street lined with 170 kitchen supply shops devoted to every conceivable culinary implement!. Visit Sensoji Temple in Asakusa & enjoy Nakamise Shopping Arcade. This evening meet your fellow travelers over a Welcome Dinner.

Day 04 - March 24, 2026:  Tokyo    [B/L]
Enjoy Taiko Drumming Experience and well as a visit to the Ginza Department Store. After lunch, visit the Imperial Palace Double Bridge.

Day 05 - March 25, 2026:  Tokyo    [B/L] 
Meet your guide at the lobby and depart for agricultural farm visits. Planned visits include the local Urban 'Tomato' Farm’, followed by lunch at local restaurant. This afternoon the planned agricultural visit will be to a Japanese mustard and spinach farm.

Day 06 - March 26, 2026:  Tokyo - Matsushima - Sendai   [B/L/D]
Check out your hotel and travel to the Tokyo Train Station and board the Yamabiko Super Express, for Kurikoma Kogen. Arrive at Kurikoma Kogen Station.   You have half day farm visit today. Planned visits include a beef operation as well as a cucumber farm.  Continue by coach to Sendai and check into your hotel.   Enjoy dinner this evening at the hotel.

Day 07 - March 27, 2026:  Sendai   [B/L]
Full day sightseeing tour in Matsushima and Sendai. Enjoy a Matsushima Bay Cruise from Matsushima Port to Shiogama Port. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.  Visit a dairy farm before arriving at hotel for the night. Dinner on your own.

 Day 08 - March 28, 2026:  Sendai - Omiya - Nagano   [B/L/D]
After breakfast today there’s a full day of farm visits which include the opportunity to see how vegetables, including Enoki mushrooms, are grown for the Japanese market.
Enjoy lunch at local restaurant. Visit factory of Benibana zome (Safflower Dyeing) as well as a visit to Sake brewery. Depart to Yonezawa station and travel by train to Nagano. Arrive at Nagano Station and transfer to hotel for the night.

Day 09 - March 29, 2026:  Nagano - Matsumoto - Takayama   [B/L/D] 
Checkout after breakfast and visit a Daio Wasabi Farm, described as Japanese horseradish. Wasabi can only be grown in cool clear water and here at Daio it is grown in abundant natural springs. Opportunity to sample wasabi culinary delights, including wasabi ice cream! Afterwards visit Matsumoto Castle. Often known as the ‘Crow Castle’ due to its black exterior. Matsumoto Castle is the oldest existing castle and one of the most complete and beautiful of Japan’s original castles.
Enjoy Japanese traditional dinner at your ryokan and enjoy hot spring. 

Day 10 - March 30, 2026:  Takayama     [B/L]
A morning
farm visit to a yam and flower operations. This is followed by a visit which includes the opportunity to experience a soba noodle making session. Soba is the Japanese name for buckwheat.  It usually refers to thin noodles made from buckwheat flour, or a mix of buckwheat and wheat flours, in contrast to the thick wheat noodles known as udon.  Enjoy walking tour of the Tamayama old district.  Check into your hotel for a two night stay, with dinner on your own this evening.

 Day 11 - March 31, 2026:  Takayama   [B/L/D]
This morning visit the market in the charming historic town of Takayama.  Located in the mountainous Gifu Prefecture, Takayama is known for its many small museums and narrow wooden merchants’ houses dating back to the Edo period.
Afterwards, visit Takayama Jinya (Historical Government Office). Enjoy lunch at local restaurant. After lunch more farm visits before arriving back at your hotel. Enjoy dinner at local Hida beef western or Japanese restaurant. 

Day 12 - April 01, 2026:  Takayama - Kyoto    [B/L/D]
Check out your hotel and transfer to the train station and board the Hida Express for Nagoya. Arrive at Nagoya Station, and change to Super Express for Kyoto. Arrive at Kyoto Station and enjoy lunch at local restaurant. Visit Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum in Fushimi as well as Sake tasting. Check into your hotel, then walk to the dinner restaurant near the hotel.

Day 13 - April 02, 2026:  Kyoto - Hiroshima - Kyoto      [B/L]
Today will be a full day sightseeing tour of Hiroshima. Board Nozomi Super Express to Hiroshima. Arrive at Hiroshima Station and visit Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum & Park. Board the Fast Ferry from Hiroshima Peace Park to Miyajima Island. Enjoy walking tour in Miyajima island and a Okonomiyaki Pancake lunch. A visit to Itsukushima Shrine will also be included. Take ferry back to main island and Hiroshima Station. From Hiroshima Station take the bullet train back to Kyoto. Arrive to your hotel. Dinner on your own.

Day 14 - April 03, 2026:  Kyoto - Kinosaki Onsen [B/L/D]
Today, you have full day sightseeing tour of Kyoto. Visit Kinkakuji Golden Pavilion as well a Ryoanji Temple. Visit Nijo Castle including lunch. Check in your ryokan accommodations in Kinosaki Onsen. Enjoy Japanese traditional dinner and hot spring! 

Day 15 - April 04, 2026:  Kinosaki Onsen - Kyoto    [B/L/D]
Check out your hotel. Visit Komi town to learn about Tajima beef.  Japan's world-famous beef brands include Kobe beef, Matsusaka beef, and Omi beef. The highest quality Tajima beef, which has been raised in various regions and carefully fattened by local producers, has earned a high reputation as a branded beef.   Visit farmers markets to learn about rice. The rice is grown in rice fields that are kept as natural as possible. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant before traveling Back to Kyoto. Enjoy dinner at restaurant near the hotel.

Day 16 - April 05, 2026:  Kyoto - Hakone   [B/L/D]  
Check out of your hotel and transfer to Fushimi by private coach.   Catch the Super Express Train Kodama for Mishima Station. Arrive at Mishima Station.  Visit Owakudani valley and ride on the Hakone Ropeway from Owakudani to Togendai. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant, then cruise Lake Ashi from Togendai Port to Hakonemachi Port.   Check into your hotel and enjoy a ‘Farewell Dinner’ at the hotel, and time to explore the hot spring!

Day 17 - April 06, 2026:  Hakone - Tokyo - Flight to North America   [B/IFM]  
Checkout after breakfast and travel by coach to the Tokyo International airport, for your return flight to North America.
