Itinerary
Day 01: July 08, 2026: Depart for Iceland
Depart North America on an overnight flight into Keflavik, Iceland. [IFM]
Day 02: July 09, 2026: Iceland/Geyser Area
Upon arrival in Keflavik, clear customs and breathe in the fresh, crisp Icelandic air. Your first stop is the Secret Lagoon, a serene natural hot spring where you can soak away your travel fatigue in its mineral-rich, steaming waters. Continue to Friðheimar Farm, where you’ll discover the magic of greenhouse farming in Iceland and savor fresh tomato-based delicacies. In the afternoon, visit the thundering Gullfoss Waterfall, one of Iceland’s most iconic and powerful natural wonders. Check-in at Hotel Geysir, located near the famous geothermal area. As the evening unfolds, take a guided walk to witness the mighty Strokkur Geyser, erupting in a spectacular burst of steam and water every few minutes. Experience the surreal beauty of the geyser-lit landscape before settling in for a well-deserved rest. [IFM/D]
Day 03: July 10, 2026: Reykjavik, Iceland
Start your day in the picturesque village of Laugarvatn, where you’ll indulge in a unique geothermal bakery experience. Learn how Icelanders harness the Earth’s heat to bake delicious, slow-cooked rye bread, and enjoy a fresh-out-of-the-ground tasting! Next, journey to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where history and geology collide. Walk between the dramatic rift valley of the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates, and hear stories of Iceland’s Viking-era parliament, the Alþingi, founded in 930 AD. Upon arrival in Reykjavík, take in panoramic views from the Perlan Observation Deck, followed by a guided tour of the capital’s top landmarks. Stroll through the charming city center and enjoy free time to explore on your own—whether it’s shopping, sipping coffee in a cozy café, or discovering street art. [B/D]
Day 04: July 11, 2026: Reykjavik, Iceland - Stockholm - Gothenburg, Sweden
Free morning to explore on your own before transferring to the airport for the flight into Stockholm, Sweden. Meet local guide and travel to Gothenburg, Sweden. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city, including a visit to Slottsskogen, where you will see typical Nordic wildlife such as moose. Dinner this evening will be along Avenyn, Gothenburg's vibrant main boulevard. With its diverse culinary scene, Avenyn offers everything from fine dining and trendy bistros to cozy cafés and lively bars, making it a favorite destination for both locals and visitors. [B/D]
Day 05: July 12, 2026: Gothenburg - Jönköping, Sweden
After breakfast, travel to a local farm for a visit. This farm is run by a couple that combines vegetable cultivation, ewe farming with 100 ewes, and a suckler cow operation. The farm previously had 300 ewes but had to scale down due to ongoing research on sheep conducted by SLU (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences). During the visit, the farmers will share their story, provide insights into their production methods, and discuss how they balance innovation with tradition. After the tour, enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with fresh ingredients from the farm such as vegetables and meat—a perfect way to experience sustainable, local agriculture at its finest. An afternoon visit to the Husqvarna Factory, participants gain unique insights into the production of high-tech equipment such as chainsaws, lawnmowers, and other machinery related to agriculture and forestry. Day 06: July 13, 2026: Vadstena, Sweden
Travelling through the farmland around Vadstena, which is among Sweden's most fertile and productive, characterized by rich soils and a long tradition of agriculture. This area, nestled by the shores of Lake Vättern, supports a variety of crops, including grains and vegetables, while also hosting livestock farms and innovative agricultural practices. The combination of historic farming heritage and modern techniques makes this region a prime example of Swedish agricultural excellence. Enjoy a farm visit, including lunch at the farm. An afternoon guided tour of picturesque Vadstena. Vadstena is a charming historic town located byLake Vättern in Sweden. Known for its well-preserved medieval Vadstena Castle and its rich history tied to Saint Birgitta. Dinner and overnight in Vadstena. [B/L/D]
Day 07: July 14, 2026: Vadstena - Stockholm, Sweden
A morning farm visit to Vikbolands Struts. This farm has 100 ostriches and is a KRAV (organic label) labeled farm. The farm also has cattle, llamas, pigs & hens. Enjoy lunch at the farm. Afternoon farm visit to Sänkdalens Gård, where they focus entirely on organic crop farming 400 hectares, meat production, and our on-site ice cream factory made of locally sourced milk. They also produce cold-pressed rapeseed oil. Of course, enjoy some fresh ice cream! Arrive to Stockholm, known as the “shimmering gem of the North”. Enjoy a city sightseeing tour, including a walking tour of “Old Town”. Dinner and overnight in Stockholm. [B/L/D]
Day 08: July 15, 2026: Stockholm Sweden / Board Star Legend
A morning at your leisure before transferring to the Star Legend to board your all-inclusive cruise. All drinks, meals, Wi-Fi and gratuities are included onboard! [B/L/D]
Day 09: July 16, 2026: Tallinn, Sweden from 12:30pm until 11pm
The spires of 14th century churches soar above fashion-forward cafés, restaurants, and shops within the stone walls of Tallinn. Medieval Old Town is the well-preserved – and thriving – center of town, where you’ll find impressive guild houses, St. Olav’s Church, and other architectural treasures. Day 10: July 17, 2026: Helsinki, Finland arrive at 8am with Overnight Stay
Art Nouveau buildings, museums, timeless restaurants, and charming cafés are sprinkled throughout the harbor dominating this maritime city. Discover reminders of the early czars’ influence at the Russian Orthodox Cathedral and the fortress on Suomenlinna Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gdansk’s Old Town was lovingly reconstructed after World War II. Take your time admiring massive red-brick churches and searching for the perfect memento in amber shops. Day 14: July 21, 2026: Bornholm, Germany from 8:30am until 5pm
This beautiful island is Denmark in miniature, complete with fertile fields, forests, craggy cliffs, and bleach-blond beaches. Day 15: July 22, 2026: Copenhagen, Denmark from 7am until 5pm
This historic city of palaces, canals, and copper spires casts a sense of enchantment upon all who walk its cobbled streets. Little wonder that Copenhagen’s favorite son, Hans Christian Andersen, was inspired to write some of the world’s most beloved fairy tales here. Stroll the 17th century Nyhavn waterfront where Andersen once lived, complete with colorful row houses and historic tall ships. Enjoy world-class shopping on Strøget, the world's longest pedestrian street. At the entrance to spectacular Geirangerfjord, Alesund has been voted the most beautiful town in Norway, and not only because of its location. The pleasant small village of Olden is located at the inner end of the 66-mile long Nordfjord, the sixth longest fjord in Norway. Long known for tourism and industry, it is now also famous for contemporary design. With fewer than 500 inhabitants Olden is an ideal destination for people who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, and is the gateway to Jostedal, the largest glacier on the European mainland. Day 23: July 30, 2026: Bergen, Norway
Colorful Bryggen, Bergen’s Hanseatic quay and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is so delightful you may find it difficult to explore further. But do. Watch the Huldras (forest nymphs) dance at Kjosfossen Waterfall, wander the narrow smau between the old buildings climbing the hillside.
Day 24: July 31, 2026: Day at Sea
Day 25: August 01, 2026: Arrive Edinburgh, Scotland / Flight back to North America
All good things must come to an end. Disembark ship and transfer to Edinburgh airport for flight back to North America. [B/IFM]
