DUBAI STOP-OVER 2026

Itinerary

Day 1:  February 22, 2026: Flight to Dubai
Depart North America for overnight flight to Dubai, UAE. [IFM]

Day 2: February 23, 2026: Dubai
Arrive to Dubai and meet local guide. Transfer to downtown hotel. Overnight Dubai. [IFM]

Day 3: February 24, 2026: Dubai
A morning visit to the Burg Al Khalifa including the thrilling elevator ride of 124 floors (out of 160) in 10 m/s speed minutes. Take in the breathtaking views arriving on the panorama floor in the highest building in the world, standing at 828m tall. The tower is situated in the Dubai mall, one of the largest in the world. Enjoy a city tour of Dubai, including a walking tour through the Bastakia, a part that has been left as an island in the middle of the more modern parts.  Here we see the old merchants' houses, and even a few examples of the straw houses that were still in use until the end of the 50s in Dubai. Embark on a small Abra (water taxi) for a ride over to the other side of the Creek, that is still the old port for small boats. Enjoy a walk through the exotic and aromatic Spice Souk and one of the best known Gold Bazaars in the world.[B/L]

Day 4: February 25, 2026: Dubai
After breakfast you will visit a large camel dairy farm to learn about camel dairy farming as well as the making of dairy products. This farm is the only one allowed to export its products into the EU. This farm is home to over 4000 camels! Enjoy a visit to the Dubai Miracle Garden with millions of flowers planted each year. We continue to the Marina and make photo-stops among the fancy yachts and amazing buildings. We pass by and make several small stops at the man-made Palm Island, at Burj Al Arab – the hotel shaped as a sail that is a symbol of Dubai. The evening will be enjoyed in the desert, with some light sand dune bashing, and a dinner barbeque and entertainment before returning to the hotel.

Day 5: March 16, 2026: Flight to Johannesburg, South Africa
A transfer to the Dubai airport for flight to Johannesburg for the Select Holidays South Africa Farm Tour. [IFM]
