Depart North America on an overnight flight into Santa Cruz De Tenerife, Canary Islands.
DAY 02: April 14, 2025: SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS
Arrive Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a vibrant city located on the island of Tenerife and the largest of the Canary Islands. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. [IDN/D]
DAY 03: April 15, 2025: SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS ~ Sail at 6pm
Free morning to explore on your own. Be sure to explore the local markets, historical monuments, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of this coastal gem! DAY 04: April 16, 2025: SAN SEBASTIAN, CANARY ISLANDS ~Arrive at 7am till 9pm
Though you won’t find canaries here you will find people who can whistle like them. Whistled speech helped shepherds communicate across the steep ravines and in the lush cloud forest of Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Columbus paused here on all three voyages so you’re in good company as you explore historic San Sebastián, but with all the natural beauty around, you’ll find your gaze drawn inexorably up the terraced hillsides and across to views of Mount Teide. DAY 05: April 17, 2025: LAS PALMAS, CANARY ISLANDS ~Arrive at 8am will 6pm
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, offers a delightful blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Whether you’re planning a day trip or just stroll on the lively street, this port of call as much to offer. If you want to shop, there are plenty of opportunities. DAY 06: April 18, 2025: LANZAROTE, CANARY ISLANDS ~Arrive at 8am with overnight stay
A “Select Holidays ~ Private Shore Events” is included this day. Nature is the star on this small volcanic island. Enjoy the afternoon on the beach or follow the island’s famous wine trail, tasting as you go. This, the most northerly of the Canary Islands, welcomes you with laid-back hospitality and genuine warmth. This region of petrified lava makes up the National Park of Timanfaya and its Mountains of Fire, where visions of a lifeless, prehistoric earth, with enormous craters of an incandescent red color, can be seen on a bus or even a camel tour. DAY 08: April 20, 2025: FUNCHAL, PORTUGAL ~Arrive at 1pm with overnight stay
A “Select Holidays ~ Private Shore Events” is included this day. Considered one of Portugal’s main tourist attractions and home of world-famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, Funchal is known for its style and beauty. Visit Cabo Girao, the highest sea cliff in Europe or take a trip to the Pica da Torre for an incredible view of Camara de Lobos, a delightful fishing village. Later this day after the Select Holidays ~ Private Shore Event, you are on your own to enjoy the long history of Madeira winemaking and time possibly for a little wine tasting or sightseeing to 15th century Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, shopping the bargains to be found here, or experiencing the vibrant night life. DAY 09: April 21, 2025: FUNCHAL, PORTUGAL ~Sail at 1pm

DAY 11: April 23, 2025: LISBON, PORTUGAL ~Arrive at 8am
Arrive into Lisbon, Portugal and transfer to hotel for a 3-night stay. Lisbon is the stunning capital city of Portugal, and is one of the most charismatic and vibrant cities of Western Europe. After disembarking the “Star Pride”, visit the market for a tour and hands-on cooking class. This market features fish and produce vendors with colorful locals daily lifestyle. Let the chef teach you how to cook and enjoy a Portuguese typical 3-course lunch with fish, meat and the famous Portuguese custard tarts as dessert. This afternoon tour and visit the city of Lisbon via the Eco Tuks that will include old and historic Lisbon neighborhoods and viewpoints. Free time before dinner at Fado, (musical genre with a dinner of Tapas) Restaurant. [B/L/D]
DAY 12: April 24, 2025: LISBON, PORTUGAL
Following breakfast, visit a factory that processes 4th range fruit into chip snacks and fresh fruit packs, ready to eat. This factory also delivers these snacks and fruit to various Portuguese supermarkets and exports as well. Later this morning, visit the Cork oak tree forest and cork observatory. This afternoon, you will visit a handmade tile factory and try your hand a painting one. Dinner this evening will be at the hotel. [B/D]
DAY 13: April 25, 2025: LISBON – SINTRA – LISBON, PORTUGAL
Following breakfast at the hotel, depart for a visit of Sintra, a UNESCO heritage village with a fairytale setting. The home of Portugal’s monarchs, this magnificent town has marvelous historic mansions, all set against the backdrop of lush hills. This afternoon’s highlight will be the visit to the Colares Wine Region that lies within two miles of the Atlantic Ocean. Its label states, “the most westerly vineyards of Europe”. After a walk through to the vineyards with a breathtaking view through to the Atlantic Ocean, you will taste the wines in their beautiful winery. Return to the hotel for dinner. [B/D]
DAY 14: April 26, 2025: LISBON - EVORA, PORTUGAL
After breakfast, check out of hotel and travel to visit a local cheese factory for a tour and tasting of some of his wares. Following this, you will visit a family wine producer,that produces rare and limited-edition wines produced in special years. This afternoon, visit the Torre de Palm Wine Hotel and Winery, which dates from the 14th century. You will visit the vineyard area, followed by wine tasting. This evening, Together with the chef of the hotel’s restaurant, the group will learn and prepare the dinner, a three-course meal base in the unique and hearty regional cuisine of Alentejo. [B/D]
DAY 15: April 27, 2025: EVORA, PORTUGAL
Following breakfast, visit Évora on a walking tour. The tour includes the Roman Temple, the Cathedral and Giraldo Square. Evora is a UNESCO World Heritage City with more than two thousand years of history. It is rated as one of the best Portuguese cities to live in. This afternoon visit and winemaking masterclass at Ervideira that dates from the 19th century. In this visit, you will learn about the Helix cork stopper. You will also learn how to blend monovarietal wines into tour own and person wine. Visit a cork factory before dinner at the hotel made and served by local producers. [B/D]
DAY 16: April 28, 2025: EVORA – BEJA, PORTUGAL
Following breakfast visit and lunch at the largest organic farm in Portugal. Visit to an olive grove and mill, the fourth largest exporter of olive oil in the world. Enjoy a tasting of the different types of olive oil being produced here. This evening “Farewell Dinner” to Portugal is at a typical regional restaurant with a Cante Alentjano chorus live performance. Return to hotel for the night late this evening. [B/L/D]
DAY 17: April 29, 2025: BEJA - LISBON, PORTUGAL
After breakfast at the hotel, there is time to explore this quaint hotel that was once a monastery. Visit to a hydroponic strawberry greenhouse with over 200,000 plants. Lunch at a local winery before traveling back into Lisbon for the night. Farewell dinner with Fado Show showcasing traditional music of Portugal. [B/L/D]
DAY 18: April 30, 2025: END OF TOUR
Following breakfast the hotel, check out and transfer to the Lisbon Airport and the flight back to North America. [B/IFM]
